Judging Criteria
The evaluation would strictly be based on the activities and impact made by the specific initiative being awarded and not on other initiatives executed by the nominated institution/individual.
Category requirements
The initiative must meet the requirement of the awards category.
- Alignment with GII core values
Integrity, Transparency, Accountability, Independence, Impartiality, Objectivity and Cooperation.
- Innovation
The initiative must present an innovative idea, a distinctively new approach, or a unique policy implemented in order to solve a problem of corruption in the institution.
- Impact
The initiative has impacted/ or has the potential to impact on the corruption fight in Ghana.
- Sustainability
The initiative should be able to be sustained and have positive impact on the future of the institution.
- Transferability
The initiative could be adaptable to other contexts and by other institutions. There should ideally be evidence that it has inspired similar innovations in other public-sector institutions.
- Inclusiveness and participation
The project/initiative has been designed and implemented in a participatory matter to include the vulnerable and socially excluded groups.
- Public voting
The Integrity Personality of the year category would be open for public voting via SMS, online and on social media. The public vote would make up 60% of the final marks for the awards.
